Camco provides trucks and support services for the Tibbitt to Contwoyto Winter Road Joint Venture. This superior engineered road sees trucks travel over water and land . Trucks head out to the ice from the end of the Ingraham Trail 70 kms north of Yellowknife to resupply the Diamond Mines of Canada’s Arctic, approximately 300 kms north. The winter resupply sees anywhere from 5,000-10,000 loads heading up the ice from February 1-March 31 every year. The staging for this massive undertaking each year begins in the fall, usually around mid to late September and continues right up to the start and into the actual winter road operation,
